Amber often finds herself in the wrong place at times, especially with the
latest guy she thought was the one. Tony Jeffers always chose beautiful
women, but this time he turns to overweight Amber. After two dates with him,
Amber is on fire and is hopelessly in bliss until Sunday rolls around and
her heart is crushed. Instead he only used her for his own conquests,
deciding to try someone different. The humiliation is terrible and she
decides to forego men forever. She begins volunteering her time to help
others. After a trip takes her to the Amazon, she heads on another trip to
help a village when the plane crashes, leaving her the sole survivor. Some
natives find her, and she learns to live with them for some time and comes
out a different woman, even in her features. When a survey crew locates her,
she hates leaving but is glad to get back to civilization. Amber has
something else on her agenda, a payback that has been burning inside her
ever since Tony broke her heart. After learning about some nice little
concoctions to get even with Tony, she decides the changed Amber will pay
him a visit. As Amber uses her wiles to get Tony to follow her trail, Tony
doesn’t know what hits him when the games begin. It is a revenge that could
teach him a lesson to change for the better or end up creating something
even more interesting for the two.
Amber’s Toys is definitely not your run-of-the-mill getting even story. The
revenge has some perks and some moments to it that almost make the reader go
ouch. Amber puts herself in the role of many women and the way they have
been treated by men badly and charts a course to really get even. There were
times I felt Amber’s pain and wanted to reach out to her for the way Tony
treated her. It is not fun for any woman to be used as anyone’s conquests.
Then again Tony gets some just desserts that really give thought. Jude Mason
creates a stunning read that is loaded in heat. With some spicy hot revenge
and sensual moments along the way, she weaves a tale that keeps the reader
locked in the games along the way.

Amber was the
quintessential average woman; many saw her as frumpy and unattractive. So
when the hunky Tony Jeffers decides to pursue her, date her, and bed her she
is instantly in love. He has told her she is fantastic, and then suddenly he
is laughing at her and breaking her heart. She is devastated, quits her job
and takes a job in a needy jungle area. Unfortunately, or fortunately, she
is thrust into a completely unknown situation when her plane crashes,
stranding her with a remote tribe. She is taken under the wing of the wise
woman of the tribe and not only thrives but also finds a means to her
revenge.
Tony Jeffers doesn’t recognize her the night she seeks her revenge. She is
much slimmer, and has contacts and has changed her hair. What will he think
when she takes her revenge, makes him her toy, and reveals whom she really
is?
Amber’s Toy is a steamy erotic tale that will send you looking for something
to fan yourself with while reading. The story is the quintessential revenge
of the former plain girl, against the playboy. I did find that Tony changed
his ways a little faster than I would have though possible but other than
that the story was well written, and very imaginative. There is more than
the normal amount of sex, some kinky, in this book, yet at the same time
there are well-developed characters and an overall plot line. Amber’s Toy is
a very hot story that turns the tables on the playboy for once.

Jude Mason brings us Amber’s Toy, a story that proves
revenge is a dish that is truly best when served cold.
For Amber, it is the culmination of her plan carefully
placed and executed. For at least two long years she has
waited for this opportunity, and now she places her self
in harms way, ready willing and able, and bringing down
the one man who almost ruined her life. Yup, Tony
Jeffers is hers, and she is cutting him no slack. Within
his bondage, Tony is fighting. He fights the need to
submit, fights the woman who controls him, and fights
the respect that is growing for his captor. It is hard
to realize this beautiful creature who holds his sanity
in her delicate hands is the one woman able to bring him
to his knees. He fell for the ploy, hook, line, and
sinker, and now he is learning that the old cliché about
hell having no fury like a woman scored in coming true
in a horrible way for him. Not only is he bound to her
with ropes and straps, but by an insidious little
parasite, whose terrible effects can only be controlled
by Amber’s knowledge. In Amber’s Toy, the sexy little
story of the careless playboy who meets his downfall at
the hands of a newly minted female Dom, Jude takes us on
a delightful trip of the ultimate revenge, and the

  Two years ago, Tony Jeffers used and
humiliated Amber. Her appearance has changed
considerably, and when she picks him up in a bar he
doesn’t recognize her as the woman he used and threw
away, like he has done with so many other women. Now
Amber has found a unique and disturbing way to exact her
revenge. Will she get her satisfaction? Will Tony see
the error of his ways?
I think the hardest part about writing this review is
trying not to ruin the nasty surprise that Amber has for
Tony. If you are at all squeamish, you’ll want to take
that into consideration before you start reading.
Amber’s methods made me squirm, but not necessarily in a
good way. I’m thankful that no one has ever pissed me
off to this extent. But if you like the idea of an
extreme revenge story or if you’re intrigued out of
sheer morbid curiosity, read on.
I wasn’t completely comfortable with the fact that,
while Tony does go home with Amber willingly, he doesn’t
know the extent of what he’s getting himself into. For
me, good BDSM is with two or more consenting adults. To
her credit, she does ask him repeatedly if he’s enjoying
what she’s doing to him – and he says yes. Honestly,
that surprised me. He says he’s turned on by her taking
control and standing up to him. Hey, good for her.
Overall, I’m not sure how I feel about this as a romance
(though it does have the necessary elements), but as a
revenge story with the potential to make your flesh
crawl, it's top notch.
