As senior partner in a law firm, Rick Sebastian is known as ‘Slave Rick’ to his wife, Cass. No one knows anything about his private life or that his wife considers herself, his Mistress. Cass is known as the Mistress and she makes sure that Rick understands every meaning of her title. As a hard working woman, Rick will obey her, no questions asked. For some reason something went wrong somewhere, and Rick doesn’t feel like he needs to subject himself to Cass. Her commands are void and null. He was about to get a couple of days off and wanted to go fishing at the cabin and take her along, but Cass has other plans after his last little disobedience. She decides to call in reinforcements so she places a call to Mistress Sabine to assist in some training lessons for him. He is aghast. Mistress Sabine is known for training slaves, a dozen maybe but no more than fifteen. What she offers the couple is much more than any dominance as Rick quickly learns the training tactics show he is bound to Cass in more ways than one.

Pink Ribbon stirs the imagination from the first page. Rick’s expressions could almost be felt as he endures the pleasure pain that Cass inflicts upon him. I thought the story lived up to being erotic in every sense of the word. With a fantasy theme, the reader can almost capture the pure essence going through Rick’s thoughts when he is near Cass. The great characterization between the husband-wife duo is astounding. Jude Mason pens a read of complete dominance and supremacy. The sexual content is not only revealing, but told in a way, it leaves nothing to the mind's eye. Provocative, sensual and sexy, Pink Ribbon sends an invigorating sensation to the mind with arousing characters.

Rick Sebastian was a lawyer by day and his wife’s slave by night. He loved to play the games of mistress and slave with Cass.  Sometimes he is not a very good love slave, so his wife decides to bring in a little help.  Rick now has two mistresses to obey.  Will he be able to handle it?  Rick has been a very bad slave; what will his mistress decide is his punishment?  Rick is thrown for a loop when his wife brings in a pink ribbon as part of his punishment.  What will Cass do with the pink ribbon?

 Cass Sebastian is a loving wife that has a knack for the dominate side, and her husband loves to be dominated.  They have a loving relationship but they will only go so far; there are lines that will not be crossed.  To fulfill her husband's and her desires, Cass brings in Lady Sabrina to help with his training.  Lady Sabrina brings a new degree of sexuality to Cass and Rick's kinkiness.      

Jude Mason has done a fantastic job of pouring on the heat for the readers to enjoy in PINK RIBBON.  Ms. Mason lets the fantasy come to life and jump off the pages at the readers.  PINK RIBBON is an awesome erotic read for every reader to enjoy.  Ms. Mason’s PINK RIBBON is a must have book.  I can not wait to get my hands on her next book.

In this short piece, Rick is a sub, and his wife, Cass, is his Domme. I have to say that it is a pleasure to read a well-done Domme piece, and this one fit the bill.

There is so much good about this piece that I hardly know where to begin. The story is written from Rick’s point of view, which is interesting. I wasn’t sure how well that would work for me, being mainly in the male character’s point of view, but it worked surprisingly well. The story begins with a little scene that sets the tone for the story, and there is a clear indication that there is a delineation between roles in the outside world and roles in the relationship. Rick is high-powered in his day-job, and has chosen, very explicitly chosen, to give all control to Cass in their relationship. Being in his point of view, you see the dichotomy of his day job versus his relationship, and it creates a nice dynamic for the story, as well as really investing the reader in the characters. Cass, as the Domme, is commanding and in charge, but still caring. Over the course of the story, it is clear that the communication between Cass and Rick is very good, and that Cass is clearly aware of Rick’s limits and respects them. She takes the dominant role in every sense in the relationship, including protecting him when he is in the submissive role. This is a nice departure from the stereotypical heartless Valkyrie who often appears in Domme stories.

Two main things about the story made it less than perfect for me. The first is the lack of background. I really would have liked to see more information on how Rick and Cass came to where they are in their relationship, which seems to be fairly new, at least in terms of Domme/sub. The second issue is confusion in the time line of the story. At the beginning of the story, Rick is caged and is recalling how he got there. The recall begins with him in the cage, and moves from there. However, Rick says that when he is sent to the cage at the end of the story that it is the first time in the cage. This inconsistency is extremely jarring, and is the main thing that keeps me from rating the story higher.

In short, I would say that this is one of the best Domme stories I have read in quite some time, and is well worth reading. If you are looking for a break from the stereotype, one with good characterization and excellent dynamics between the characters, this is definitely a story for you.

  Rick and Cass are a D/s couple; she is the Domme, he is the slave, and woe betide Rick whenever he forgets that fact. When he fails to comply with the submissive position he himself has requested, Domme Cass decides further training is in order, and enlists help from her friends. Cass is a very strict Mistress and tolerates absolutely no insubordination or error. When her “friend” turns out to be an experienced Domme and owner of the sex shop to which she has sent Rick, he knows a weekend truly without bounds is ahead of him.

    This is my first Jude Mason, but guaranteed it won’t be my last. This short story is HOT from start to finish with truly gripping sensuality and explicit BDSM behaviour and language. What a pair submissive Rick and Dominating Cass are, and with the addition of Lady Sabine, the plot is off and running! Some readers might find the story line too graphic, but for those who enjoy BDSM fiction, this will definitely find a place at the top of your must-read list!

Review of PINK RIBBON

This is a very long story, over 20,000 words. It’s certainly not to be read at a sitting, but more savoured like a fine wine over a few days. The main story line is about Rick, a submissive man and his trials and tribulations with his mistress Cass, aided and abetted by her friend Mistress Sabine.

 The story starts by introducing us to Rick and Cass’s lifestyle. He is held in a cage, kneeling while thinking back to how he got to this position. This is meant to be a review, so I won’t dwell on how he got there, but the scene is an extremely hot one.

 One of the things that I most admire about Ms Masons writing, is the way she paces her stories. So it is with Pink Ribbon. She has a surefootedness that keeps the reader on the hook, almost (but not quite) unable to let go. It’s a great gift rarely seen in this field. I can only think of 2 other writers who display the same talents.

 The way that Mistress Sabine is introduced to the story is both ingenious and suitably humiliating for Rick, and when she joins in the action, well I was lost in a mixture of envy and fear for the poor guy (I‘m a man – obviously!) Just as the action is becoming a little heavy for my taste Mason gives us a break and lets Cass explain that all the humiliation  and ill treatment is done for love, and then treats us to a really quite tender scene.

 This is a story that can be read many times and each time something fresh can be found in it. Women will enjoy the thoughts of “dealing” with their men while men will find the story suitably arousing. All in all I can heartily recommend this story and expect it to be well in the running for an award
