Another busy month and lots to share with you, so
make sure you're settled in and have a cup of your favorite drink. When I
write my newsletter, I usually begin it a few days, maybe a week before its
due for release. That way, I don't have to scramble to get it all in. So, in
reality, it's Tuesday, the 10th and after some frustration about release
forms, Willing and Able, one of my faves, is out again and I'm really
thrilled about it. A question popped into my mind about books being
re-released, and this is something I've been asked about and asked a few
friends in the past.
When a book has been released, then for whatever reason is taken off the
shelves, should an author change it before
it's sent out again for release?
II've actually just finished working on one now
that will be somewhat different when it comes out again with TEB in August,
Sam, the Man. I adore my Sam, but my editor has given me a few ideas and
I've taken them to heart. Sam will be different from when he originally
showed his handsome face, but not so much that anyone who's read him
before won't recognize him. It's an interesting question for sure. The book
doesn't belong totally to the author when others have read it. They, in some
way, own it, too.
Oh, and fantastic news about my weight. I've finally reached my goal weight
and feel fantastic about it. I see my specialist on Tuesday, the 17th and
I'm hoping everything is going to be all right. No issues with my eyes or
anything, but I know I can't see what the good doctor sees, so all I can do
is cross my toes and pray.
Another bit of news you all might be interested in. I've decided to open up
my blog on Wednesdays to company. Anyone who'd like to find our more, I'd

I'm really hoping to get a nice cross section of visitors, readers, writers,

I've been writing up a storm. Okay, maybe not a big storm, but it's all
good. I'm nearly half done with Jazz, Sammy is done and Here Puss is well on

Oh my animal buddies are all doing well. Limpy is still hanging in there and
his antlers have started growing again. The does all look like they're ready
to pop, so any day now, we'll have little ones showing up. I'm so looking
forward to that. The raccoons are showing up during the day and that usually
means they've got young stashed somewhere. It's definitely Spring, no matter
what the weather says.
