Purr For Me-----Was it all a dream? Her dream lover? The lion in the lion tamer costume who was her mate, and a gorgeous hunk of male specimen, as well as a wonderful lover to make her toes curl. He takes her as his mate and they make love all night long. So when she is woken up by her brother so they can get ready to go to the Halloween party she is confused, and frustrated. Was her lover just a dream? Of course, it had to be. People didn't go around changing into panthers and lions, people were people. So why when she does go to the Halloween party for real does she smell the same scent, and hear the same voice close to her ear saying "I bet I can make you purr." All she could say as her knees melted under her was "Meowwww."

This is a wonderful story and she had me believing it was real all the way up until it was a dream, or was it? I would definitely like this author to stay in this genre and write more. I love stories about the shape shifters, be they lions, panthers, werewolves, etc. My favorites are the panthers though. I love those panthers, especially black panthers.

Beast Magic-----Shana had dreamed of having an animal in her bed, she just didn't know how accurate that was going to be. She had been dreaming of a gorgeous man, as well as dreaming of a lion with a magnificent black mane which she thought was a nightmare and he was going to eat her. How was she to know they were one and the same.

Ramses had been having the dreaming about his human mate for a while and had saved himself for her. He crossed the great water to find her and claim her as his mate. How could this be? They have both been dreaming of the other, but had never met before. Now they are mates. There is a lot to get used to as she is human, and he is not. But boy is he an animal in bed! The only thing that could ruin their lives together and their happiness is a jealous lioness named Kaket who wanted Ramses for herself and would stop at nothing, even eating humans to get to him, to have him for herself.

Can Ramses and Shana find happiness in Africa together? Will they finally be happy now that they have each found their other half? You will have to read to find out. I can't wait to read more from this author. A definite keeper.

Cat's Claw-----Morgan went to Joshua to tell him bad news. His father was dead, had died 2 weeks before and she was the executor of his estate. She was prepared to tell him the news, but so unprepared for what awaited her at Joshua's cabin in the woods. He was all male, and she had a hard time keeping her mind on why she was there and not on him. Morgan has a secret, something she has tried to hide with taking medication since she started her menses years ago. A deep, dark secret. She thought it was a recurring nightmare, but now knows the truth. She turns into a cougar at times with fur that is almost white. She can't believe the scents and sights of the night that being a cougar bring to her. What she doesn't know though, is Joshua has a secret too.

Joshua can shift into a cougar as well. Now they can't seem to get enough of each other. They have finally found someone that each of them can be themselves with and truly let go when they have sex, letting their feline selves free. Somehow Joshua's father knew the truth about Morgan and had hinted that she would find someone she could be herself with.

Morgan is overwhelmed with all of the new sensations. How can she believe that all of this time what she thought were nightmares that came on the full moon were real, and that she found someone just like her who is also a cougar and the attraction is mutual. Can Morgan and Joshua find happiness now that they have finally found someone that they can be themselves with? Will Morgan come to realize truly that she really can turn into a cougar and it is not just a dream or nightmare? What will Joshua's father's role turn out to be in bringing them together? You will have to read it to find out. I loved this, definite keeper.

PURR FOR ME by Skylar Sinclair

 Panteara is a beast-shifter, able to turn into a panther. However, one night a year, on her birthday, she can do a partial shift—which leads to some really fun times since her birthday just happens to fall on Halloween. Going to a Halloween party as a shifter usually results in some really good times. She’s on the hunt for a man to rock her world and as the sexy panther, she’s determined to find her man.

 Roarke had no intention of showing up at the stupid Halloween party. However, when he sets his eyes on the sultry Panteara, his mind becomes a whirlwind of lust. He’s determined to tame the sexy kitty before the night it through. In the end though, who will tame who?

 PURR FOR ME is exquisite and mouthwateringly delicious. Skylar Sinclair nailed this story and kept me hot and bothered from beginning to end. Panteara gives new meaning to the term “sex kitten.” She is absolutely divine and I want to be her when I grow up. She is sultry, passionate, seductive and completely beautiful. Roarke—well, his name just says it all. Any man named Roarke is a guarantee to be full of sex appeal. He’s gorgeous, brawny, sexy and a total match for Panteara. By the end of this story, I was so addicted to the storyline and the characters that I could have kept reading for hours more. 

 BEAST MAGIC by Sapphire Phelan

 Ramses is a werelion bent on finding his mate—at any cost. He’ll cross oceans to find her and he’s not about to take no for an answer when he locates her.

 Shana has been having dreams of a lion for years now. These aren’t ordinary dreams-they make her wild with desire and leave her craving something more.

 When the two find each other and decide to make a go of it, things take a scary turn. Ramses pack doesn’t condone him being with a human and they’ll do whatever it takes to tear them apart.

 BEAST MAGIC by Sapphire Phelan was so-so for me. I liked the characters, but I couldn’t seem to stay involved with the story. I felt like there was so much packed into this story, that I was actually missing out on something. The relationship between the two characters is potent and sexually enticing and was truly believable. Overall, I liked the general premises of this story and genuinely enjoyed the sex scenes and the romance between the characters was sweet.

 CAT’S CLAW by Jude Mason

 When Morgan has to track down the last living relative of a client of hers, she never expects to encounter a man who lives like he’s in the 1800’s. Joshua turns out to be her client’s son, but Josh has his own secrets to share with Morgan. Josh isn’t exactly human—he’s a shifter! Morgan is instantly attracted to the gorgeous man—so much so that she literally wants to reach out and jump him. Joshua is having the same intense attraction. Little does Morgan know, there’s another aspect to her life that has been undiscovered as of yet. Soon, she will find a whole new world opening up to her—but will Josh be by her side?

 CAT’S CLAW is purrfect in every regard. Ms. Mason never disappoints and this story totally revved my engine. Morgan and Lucas are off the charts. I couldn’t get enough of the relationship developing between them. It was at turns, sweet, romantic, passionate and mind-blowingly orgasmic. I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end throughout this story. I couldn’t wait to see how the relationship between Josh and Morgan would turn out. They were a perfect match made in heaven and I couldn’t catch my breath when it came to their sex scenes. The mystery surrounding Morgan’s past really kept me enthralled and I couldn’t wait to discover who or what she really was. If you’re looking for a paranormal erotic story with a hint of mystery, CAT’S CLAW will be the purrfect book for you!

 Overall, SHIFTING DESIRES is an incredible indulgence into the paranormal erotic world from the eyes of three wonderfully talented authors. I was gripped from the very beginning and I could have kept reading for weeks. Everything about this anthology is downright fantastic. Plot lines are strong (for the most part-a few little things here and there), relationships are some of the best matches I’ve ever read and the sex scenes are out of this world. I loved the shifters. The differences in each story between what kind of shifters they were really kept my interest and shook things up a bit. SHIFTING DESIRES is a wonderful way to while away an afternoon. Break out the popcorn and bottle of wine and sit back and enjoy!
